Measurement Data Analysis

The MagHyst® result explorer is now part of the MagHyst® Toolbox and is available as an optional software solution. It was developed as a central tool for accessing all measurement data and complements MagHyst® automation test systems in practical operation.
The software enables users to visualize and compare measurement curves and evaluation results. It also allows measurement results and curves to be exported efficiently, for example for external, customer-specific analyses.

In contrast to the performance-optimized review function in the MagHyst® automation station software, the MagHyst® Toolbox Result Explorer provides full access to all MagHyst® automation databases and their stored data. This ensures that both previous and current measurements can be retrieved whenever needed without affecting the ongoing operation of the test station.

The MagHyst® Toolbox is an easy-to-install Windows application that can connect to all versions of MagHyst® automation databases. All measurements are displayed in a structured and searchable tree and organized by date (year, month, and day). Using the unique ID or name of each MagHyst® measurement, users can specifically search or filter for individual measurements or entire measurement series. With the ability to select large numbers of datasets simultaneously for processing and display, the software is ideal for users who require fast and structured access to large volumes of magnetic hysteresis measurement data and their specific evaluation results. In the graphical view, curve colors can be adjusted to improve clarity or facilitate categorization.

The data can be accessed from any computer with the MagHyst® Toolbox installed and a connection to the database server, without requiring specialized knowledge or detailed understanding of the database structure or SQL queries. The software enables evaluation results and measurement curves to be exported in CSV format. Measurement curves can also be exported as graphics in PNG format.

The MagHyst® Toolbox Result Explorer provides a basis for efficiently working with large volumes of measurement data through simple data selection and visualization. It enables the analysis of large datasets and provides a foundation for a wide range of investigations, such as examining correlations with the mechanical properties of test objects. It allows users to quickly review and compare large amounts of data. Combined with flexible export options, it is an efficient tool for identifying both gradual and sudden changes in test objects.

The traceability and assignment of measurements to the corresponding test object provide additional testing and analysis possibilities. Even after long periods of time, the measurement history of each individual test object can be retrieved and reviewed.
