MagHyst®automation is a testing system for customer-specific applications, enabling 100% quality control of electromagnetic components across the entire value chain.
It supports sensorless evaluation in industrial production environments and is suitable for both in-line and end-of-line testing of actuators, solenoids, and valve systems.
Magnetic measurement enables the sensorless and non-destructive detection of electrical, magnetic, and mechanical assembly faults in electromagnetic actuators — even in semi-assembled states. This allows early fault detection and reduces the risk of defective components reaching later production stages.
Measured data is evaluated within milliseconds, enabling fast and reliable quality control in industrial production environments. Results are clearly visualized and stored in a database for traceability, process optimization, and statistical analysis. Integration into existing production systems is supported via common fieldbus interfaces and PLC connections.
The measured characteristics provide detailed insight into actuator behavior, including:
- switching currents
- air gap
- stick-slip effects
- armature movement
- internal forces such as friction and spring behavior
- influences of the production process
