for Magnetic Measurement and Actuator Testing

MagHyst® technology is an advanced solution for the sensorless, non-destructive magnetic measurement in complex electromagnetic systems. It enables the precise analysis of electromagnetic actuators, including solenoids, valves, relays, and brakes, under real operating conditions.

Initially launched by Ilmenauer Mechatronik GmbH, now actively developed and applied by MagTronX GmbH, the technology is used in industrial environments worldwide to improve system understanding, reliability, and performance of electromagnets.

How It Works

MagHyst® technology uses the excitation coil of an actuator as a measurement source. This approach allows both electromagnetic and mechanical behavior to be captured without additional sensors or modifications to the component.

As a result, it supports applications such as sensorless diagnostics, non-destructive testing, and inline measurement in production environments, laboratories or lifetime tests benches.

Measurable Parameters

A wide range of actuator characteristics can be analyzed, including:
